About the Role

Port is seeking a Technical Video Creator & Evangelist to be the face and voice of Port within the tech community. This role involves creating engaging short-form video content to explain complex AI concepts and showcase how Port transforms engineering workflows. The ideal candidate is a charismatic communicator with engineering know-how and a passion for technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Host, script, and produce short, high-quality, engaging technical videos for platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok/Reels, and LinkedIn.
• Translate new features, customer use cases, and AI market trends into easily understandable video content.
• Evangelize the Agentic-SDLC concept and position Port as a leading platform for AI-driven engineering.
• Configure lightweight demo environments for video production.
• Engage with online comments, track developer sentiment, and collaborate with external tech creators.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to identify new features and use cases for content.

Requirements

• A naturally positive, high-energy communicator with a passion for technology and the ability to connect with developer communities.
• A portfolio demonstrating the creation of engaging technical video content.
• 5+ years of technical experience in roles such as Technical Marketer, Developer Advocate, Sales Engineer, or DevOps/Platform Engineer.
• Comfort working with APIs, cloud-native architectures, and DevOps/CI-CD workflows.
• Ability to identify compelling hooks in technical features and documentation.
• Basic proficiency with video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Premiere, Descript).
