About the Role

As a Product Marketing Lead, you will be the strategic owner of go-to-market execution and growth initiatives for ecobee’s ecosystem solutions with a focus on ecobee’s security offering. This role carries executive-level influence and requires partnering closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure strategy translates into clear, compelling, and commercially impactful execution in the market.

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for launch quality, timing, and consistency across marketing, sales, and customer touchpoints.
  • Lead growth initiatives across acquisition, adoption, expansion, and retention to drive revenue, ARPU, and customer lifetime value.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing and Sales to shape growth hypotheses, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate the impact of growth initiatives, surfacing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Own marketing channel orchestration, ensuring aligned channel plans, compelling narratives, and sales readiness with sales teams.
  • Operate as a senior cross-functional leader without authority, driving alignment, clarity, and momentum across Product, Sales, and Marketing.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product marketing; ideally in a subscription-based or connected hardware environment.
  • Proven track record of crafting and executing go-to-market strategies that deliver measurable business results.
  • Deep experience in developing customer-facing positioning and messaging rooted in research and insight.
  • Strong analytical and performance mindset, with the ability to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Exceptionally strong ability to influence and collaborate across teams and at all levels of the organization.
  • Clear communicator and persuasive storyteller who can rally teams around ideas and initiatives.
