About the Role

As a Senior Compiler Engineer on the AI Kernels & Compilers team, you will develop the compilation stack that transforms high-level models into optimized inference artifacts for autonomous and assisted driving platforms. You will contribute to a pipeline that enables ML engineers to compile models efficiently, focusing on optimizing throughput, model fidelity, and on-vehicle latency while building robust tooling for validation and performance diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve the model compilation toolchain for deploying large-scale perception, prediction, and planning models.
  • Architect new compiler passes and analysis to improve build times, memory footprint, and runtime latency.
  • Collaborate with kernels, runtime, and hardware teams to co-design interfaces and shape accelerator capabilities.
  • Set standards and best practices for model export, validation, and debugging to ensure rapid iteration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the field of compilers.
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
  • Experience with software stacks including ONNX, MLIR, XLA, TVM, or TensorRT.
  • Expertise in writing production-quality Python and C++ code.
  • Expertise in the software development life-cycle including coding, debugging, optimization, testing, and integration.
  • BS or higher degree in CS, CE, EE, or equivalent.
