About the Role

As a Field Property Adjuster, you will travel to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and efficiently. You will also handle virtual claims countrywide, leveraging various platforms and software, with a focus on water losses.

  • Utilize multiple tools, including estimate tools and job aids, to complete tasks.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to problem-solve.
  • Execute policies according to policy agreements.
  • Maintain a clear record of work in the claims system.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation for each claim.

Requirements

  • Willing and able to carry a 50-pound ladder.
  • Able to access up to a 6/12 pitch on a one to two-story roof.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel as part of job requirements.
  • Must attend 2-weeks of training in Dallas, TX.
  • May be required to obtain an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days of hire.
  • If holding an active insurance license, must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding.
  • Must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment.
  • Applicants seeking an adjuster role who hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license.
  • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home.
  • Must have reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload when working from home.
