About the Role

Operate and maintain handheld and bench-mounted power tools to fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components for MRI systems, adhering to safety and ESD protocols. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to interpret technical drawings, perform precise assemblies, and document tool usage and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain handheld and bench-mounted power tools (e.g., drills, riveters, torque drivers, grinders) to accurately fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components for MRI systems while following safety and ESD protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to interpret technical drawings, perform precise assemblies, and document tool usage and maintenance to ensure compliance with medical-device manufacturing standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with light industrial or home improvement work.
  • Experience with soldering, wiring, fabrication or in a general warehouse setting.
  • Must be able to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
