About the Role
The Business Architect Senior / Salesforce Solution Engineer is a strategic, client-facing technical expert who partners closely with business leaders, account executives, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into scalable Salesforce-driven solutions. This role bridges the gap between business strategy and technology execution—advising stakeholders, architecting solutions, and ensuring successful adoption of Salesforce capabilities across the enterprise. The ideal candidate blends strong business acumen with deep Salesforce platform expertise, and excels at designing innovative, value-driven solutions that support organizational growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Business on discovery sessions to understand business objectives, pain points, and technical requirements.
- Help Product Managers identify opportunities to streamline, automate, or enhance operations using expertise on latest Salesforce capabilities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on platform best practices, architecture standards, and technology alignment.
- Architect tailored Salesforce solutions that align with business strategy, functional needs, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Build, configure, and deliver engaging, purpose-built demos and prototypes that illustrate solution value and feasibility.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Act as an enterprise Salesforce subject matter expert, maintaining deep knowledge of Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, AI tools, and extensibility options.
- Provide guidance on both declarative (click-based) and programmatic (Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs) solution patterns.
- Stay informed about Salesforce releases, innovations, and industry trends to proactively recommend enhancements.
- Provides guidance and advice on business architecture designs in complex projects, resolves difficult problems and ensures that all deliverables meet high standards in quality.
- Designs business architecture procedures, such as the target operating model and roadmap, while considering business strategies and goals.
- Consults on best practices for junior staff in business architecture planning, processes, data modeling and business architecture tools (e.g. UML and BPMN.)
- Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
- Oversees the quality of business architecture project deliverables while ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant standards and processes.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Salesforce solution engineering, business architecture, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, capabilities, and configuration tools.
- Proven experience designing end-to-end solutions that integrate business processes, technology, and user experience.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate business problems into scalable, high-impact technical solutions.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise environments, multi-cloud implementations, or complex integration landscapes.
- Background in pre-sales engineering, or enterprise solution architecture.
- Familiarity with Banking, Financial Services, or at least Retail Sales.
- This position is subject to the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA) and, for any registered role, the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) and/or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), which prohibit the hiring of individuals with certain criminal history.

- $123,000.00 – $217,100.00
