About the Role

As a Treasury Management Officer II within PNC's Merchant Services organization, you will be responsible for sales, revenue generation, internal partnering, and risk management, supporting PNC's Western markets. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of merchant services sales experience and involves 40% travel or more.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue and market share.
  • Works with clients with moderate levels of risk and complexity.
  • Acquires and/or expands and retains client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet.
  • Handles the origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of non-credit products and services.
  • Manages risk/return and drives quality for new and/or existing clients.
  • Identifies and mitigates different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
  • Focuses on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client's needs and their financial well-being.
  • Increases client engagement and loyalty through strategic dialogue and opportunity quantification.
  • Manages effective network of internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience.
  • Ensures awareness of the full range of PNC's products and services.
  • Leverages reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.
  • Analyzes, evaluates and informs on treasury product knowledge, industry benchmarking, and solution positioning.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of merchant services sales experience.
  • Candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.
  • This position is subject to the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (FDIA) and, for any registered role, the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act) and/or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), which prohibit the hiring of individuals with certain criminal history.
