About the Role
JLL is seeking a Director Project & Development Services (m/w/d) MEP to join their team in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Köln, or Frankfurt am Main. This role involves managing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services in new and renovation projects across various property types, focusing on cost, schedule, and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Manage MEP services (cost group 400) in new and renovation projects for office, hotel, residential, logistics, and/or industrial buildings.
- Develop and evaluate MEP concepts for feasibility studies and project initiation.
- Oversee MEP detailed planning and coordinate interfaces with other trades throughout all project phases (LPH 1-9) as a project manager and client representative.
- Perform active cost, schedule, and quality control specifically for technical trades, including execution monitoring and commissioning management.
- Conduct Technical Due Diligence (TDD) focusing on evaluating building services equipment and identifying Capex needs.
- Advise clients on energy efficiency and sustainability (ESG, CRREM paths) and optimizing existing building services.
- Act as the central point of contact and technical expert for all MEP-related inquiries from clients, investors, and project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in building services engineering, electrical engineering, building technology, or a comparable technical field.
- Alternatively, a completed vocational training as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d) in HVAC or electrical engineering with relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management, detailed planning, or site supervision of MEP projects.
- In-depth knowledge of planning, tendering, and site supervision of MEP trades for various asset classes.
- Proficient in HOAI, AHO, VOB/B, and relevant technical standards and regulations.
- Experience using software for cost and schedule control, such as MS Project.
- Knowledge of BIM methods is an advantage.
- Very good Microsoft Office skills.
- Very good written and spoken German and English language skills.
- Interest in independently building customer relationships.
- High degree of initiative and quality awareness.
- Strong team and communication skills, as well as service orientation.
