About the Role

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies, procedures, GMPs, and manufacturing procedures.
• Assemble product, components, and sub-assemblies using various machines or hand operations.
• Perform tasks such as pressing, bonding, soldering, flaring, stripping, clamping, sanding, welding, mounting/dismounting, and inspecting.
• Consistently meet daily production goals while building high-quality products to specification.
• Set up, operate, perform minor maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Follow department procedures for material replenishment.
• Assist in training manufacturing personnel.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Work flexible hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visa at this time.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, comprehend, and follow specifications in English.
• Able to perform basic math calculations and use measuring devices and tools.
• Meets or exceeds dexterity requirements.
• Ability to successfully demonstrate visual accuracy through company-approved program.
• Displays a positive attitude.
• Able to work flexible and/or extended hours.
• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
• On-the-Job training, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are required.
• Ability to work under magnification for long periods.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
• Able to lift 30 lbs. (over 30 lbs. with assistance).
• Repetitive use of hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and perform repetitive hand/wrist movements.
• May require some exposure to chemicals used in manufacturing processes.
• May encounter minor physical inconvenience or discomfort occasionally (moderate noise, disagreeable odors, etc.).
