About the Role
As a Senior Specialist, Wallet Operations, you will support end-to-end wallet operations, focusing on daily running of wallet and card services, transaction monitoring, funding and withdrawal flows, and ensuring operational processes run smoothly. You will assist with customer exceptions and escalations, including transaction issues, failed payments, disputes, and operational errors.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end wallet operations.
- Monitor daily wallet and card services.
- Support funding and withdrawal flows.
- Ensure supporting operational processes run smoothly and accurately.
- Assist with customer exceptions and escalations, including transaction issues, failed payments, disputes, operational errors, and handling overdrawn wallet accounts.
- Engage directly with customers to explain account positions, gather information, and support resolution.
- Support the production and maintenance of operational reporting.
- Identify trends and recurring issues.
- Escalate risks or control gaps.
- Operate within defined risk and compliance frameworks.
- Assist with the provision of operational data and insights.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities by supporting updates to processes and documentation.
- Assist with automation initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in fintech or financial services operations, payments, or banking.
- Working understanding of digital wallets, card payments, transaction flows, reconciliations, and operational controls.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Process-driven mindset.
- Confidence working in operational systems, reporting tools, and case management platforms.
- Clear communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
