About the Role
The TO Admin Manager leads a team providing administrative and operational support to Tech Ops employees across SFMC and IAH Shops. This role oversees staffing coordination, personnel activities governed by the IBT CBA, and serves as a key liaison between operational leadership, HR, Labor Relations, and union representatives to ensure consistent policy application and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a unified administrative and business support team across SFMC and IAH Shops
- Oversee administrative activities including staffing coordination, eBids, shift bids, vacation bids, and uniforms
- Ensure consistent execution of processes across multiple locations and employee groups
- Provide administrative and operational support to Managing Directors regarding overtime planning, hiring, and staffing allocations
- Partner with HR, Labor Relations, Payroll, and Scheduling teams to support staffing needs
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and consistency
- Streamline workflows and standardize administrative practices across locations
- Serve as a liaison between operational leaders, employees, and union representatives
- Support special projects, reporting requests, and operational priorities
- Maintain functional working relationships with union leaders in two locals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 5+ years of experience in the administrative management field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview
