Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive parts and accessories to wholesale customers, repair facilities, and dealership locations safely, efficiently, and professionally.
- Verify and prepare parts orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Receive customer payments, process credit card transactions, handle payments, and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Obtain delivery confirmations, customer signatures, and required documentation for all deliveries.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, stocking, and organizing incoming inventory shipments.
- Support parts ordering by maintaining inventory levels and communicating stock shortages.
- Process customer returns, warranty parts, and core returns according to policies and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, and related paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with Parts Department personnel regarding schedules, requests, and order status.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of company delivery vehicles and report maintenance concerns.
- Adhere to all dealership policies, safety standards, traffic regulations, and union work rules.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and warehouse organization.
- Support parts counter operations during peak business periods.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment within the Parts Department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move automotive parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality, and eagerness to improve.
- Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.
- Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
