About the Role
Drive business growth by securing negotiated and invitation-to-bid opportunities in collaboration with the engineering team. Lead the full sales lifecycle, building and strengthening relationships with customers and industry partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives for design-build and negotiated projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including building owners, developers, general contractors, engineers, and architects.
- Collaborate with internal and external engineering and design teams to deliver innovative, energy-efficient, and cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs.
- Evaluate project requirements, specifications, and budgets to develop accurate, competitive proposals and estimates.
- Lead client presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to successfully secure new business.
- Partner with project managers and field teams to ensure seamless project execution and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to strengthen brand presence and expand the client base.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong emphasis on design-build within the mechanical contracting industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and support business development efforts.

Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Salary/Compensations
- $70,000-$120,000
