About the Role
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will support project initiatives and monitor collections activity and AR sub ledger accounting to mitigate risk, improve profitability, minimize costs, and create efficiencies. They will gather and analyze data, and build relationships through sound business decisions that protect the integrity of the accounts receivable.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely delivery of invoices, responses to client inquiries, and coordination of payment.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned clients.
- Negotiate settlements within assigned guidelines.
- Act as a self-directed problem solver, focusing on execution, accountability, and ownership.
- Create and generate analytics using mathematical analysis, judgment, and business knowledge to recommend sub ledger activity and other financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls, SEC regulations, and client contracts by interpreting circumstances, recommending controls, writing narratives for new processes, implementing necessary processes, and ensuring controls are met by junior staff.
- Propose sub ledger entries, reserves, and reconciliation of cash deposits by leveraging multiple systems, reviewing circumstances, applying business knowledge, and exercising judgment.
- Manage project functions, including documenting current state processes and proposing future state processes, supporting execution, and implementing enhancements.
- Identify trends in processes and propose efficiencies through improved workflows between internal departments.
- Support projects and initiatives.
- Review existing processes, evaluate, and recommend opportunities for enhancement.
- Research and provide direction on complex issues with internal partners and respond to client requests by evaluating information and offering recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with peers and leaders in related functional areas to ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage all aspects impacting the order to cash cycle, from sales contracts to cash applications.
- Assess financial risk and minimize the organization’s and clients’ exposure or liabilities by recommending and implementing solutions.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of related experience in a Credit and Collections position.

- Strong Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot tables)
- High Radius experience is a plus
