About the Role

Shopkeeper Apprentices are full-time employees sharing the same responsibilities as the Shopkeeper including accounting, scheduling, inventory/ordering, and all HR functions. This position involves working variable shifts, including opening, closing, and weekend shifts. Apprentices report to a Shopkeeper and can act as second-in-command at a full shop or first-in-command at a low volume/complexity location. They undergo ongoing training and development to prepare them for future Shopkeeper positions.

HR functions (hiring, training, development, and performance management of all team members)
Working variable shifts, including opening shifts, closing shifts, and/or weekend shifts
Acting as the second-in-command at a full shop or as first-in-command at a low volume/complexity location
Undergoing ongoing training and development
