About the Role

Seeking a Freelance Senior Product Manager with a strong background in digital transformation and product consulting to join a cross-functional delivery team. This role involves launching new propositions by mixing entrepreneurial thinking with global organization resources, validating desirability, building, and launching new digital products and services. The position requires leading, influencing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, acting as a liaison between the Red Badger team and the client, driving the product vision, owning the backlog, and connecting business strategy with end-user value.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive clients' product strategy and vision.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams in designing, validating, and building cutting-edge products and services.
  • Work with senior/executive stakeholders to identify and overcome organizational challenges impacting product delivery.
  • Identify and prioritize user value, balancing business and user needs for successful product launches and iterations.
  • Champion the product discipline on complex digital transformation projects.
  • Advocate for Product Management, User-Centred Design methodologies, lean approaches to user testing, research, and data-driven UXD.
  • Drive continuous improvement, quality, and project delivery, facilitating difficult tradeoffs to deliver user value quickly.
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients by collaborating to solve problems and create products/services delivering business and user value.
  • Build strong relationships with leadership teams of industry-leading organizations.
  • Rapidly build domain expertise within client industries, understand markets and user segments, and help identify new ones.
  • Communicate with confidence to a broad range of stakeholders and client teams.
  • Proactively understand and share macro and micro-economic trends and their impact on future products.
  • Support building, hiring, and inspiring Product Strategists and Managers aligned with Red Badger’s values.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Product Strategists and Managers.
  • Encourage thought leadership and help develop industry-leading value propositions for Red Badger.
  • Champion Red Badger’s ways of working: cross-functional teams, agile and lean best practices, building quality in.
  • Understand and communicate the complete value chain (Engineering, QA, UXD, Insights and Delivery).
  • Act as an ambassador for Red Badger, advocating for 'doing the right thing' and 'doing the thing right', supporting and enabling others.

Requirements

  • Expertise in product discipline, willing to share knowledge and experience internally and externally.
  • Proven track record of identifying user and business needs, testing product/market fit, incubating, and launching new digital products and services successfully in complex environments.
  • Experience in large-scale digital product development, preferably with agency or consultancy background.
  • Ability to use data to drive decisions and help others do the same.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to the audience.
  • Growth mindset: continuous learning, curiosity, willingness to test and learn from failure.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Honest and direct communication style with clear points of view.
  • Ability to play a key role in the future success of Red Badger and demonstrate involvement in strategic growth initiatives.
