About the Role

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for meeting sales targets in the assigned territory by developing new customer accounts and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction through exemplary service and follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Plan all sales related activities: customer visits, prospect visits, customer events, customer clinical training, peer-to-peer trainings, territory strategies, creating customer presentations etc.
  • Visit existing customers for the purpose of maintaining relationships and developing sales opportunities in order to achieve sales targets.
  • Prospect potential customers in order to open and secure new accounts.
  • Conduct customer training events including: customer clinical training, peer-to-peer trainings, customer staff sales training, and practice building, while representing Clarion at industry trade shows.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities including all required internal reporting and information management.

Requirements

  • Minimum college diploma / University degree.
  • 3 - 5 years (minimum) of relevant and successful medical sales experience with a proven sales track record.
  • Previous sales experience with Premium Channel or vision related products is considered an asset.
  • Independent and self-motivated person who is used to working with sales quotas/bonus plans.
  • Previous territory management experience required.
  • Experience in training medical professionals.
  • Creative individual with an ability to manage and quickly reset priorities in rapidly changing environment.
  • An innovative and flexible individual with a high energy level.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective & constructive relationships with internal / external clients and associates, earning trust & respect through demonstrating a consistent commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Strong team player.
  • Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office products. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • A personal automobile is a requirement.
  • A valid Canadian Drivers license.
