About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer for LEAG Clean Power GmbH (m/f/d) for our Gas/H2ready power plant and battery projects, with the option to work in Cottbus, Berlin-Kreuzberg, Leipzig-Lippendorf, or Dresden. Mobile working is enabled.

Responsibilities

  • Further development of the reporting and data architecture in project management.
  • Actively shaping the data & analytics landscape and ensuring scalable, data-driven reporting based on a stable technical foundation.
  • Introduction and support of Power BI solutions (data acquisition, cleaning, modeling, design & UI).
  • Developing data models, dashboards, and reports, ensuring their operation, and continuously optimizing them for performance and usability.
  • Data integration and interface management.
  • Ensuring timely handover of required inputs by the project team.
  • Identifying relevant data sources, connecting them via interfaces (e.g., APIs), and ensuring consistent and automated data provision.
  • Ensuring data quality and further development of analysis approaches including AI.
  • Establishing standards for efficient reporting by developing data-based analyses using AI-supported automations.
  • Programming and automation of data processes.
  • Developing data pipelines and scripts (e.g., with SQL, Python), automating processes, and ensuring stable and efficient data flows.

Requirements

  • Completed degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science) or comparable qualification and corresponding professional experience.
  • Sound experience in building reporting, BI, or data solutions.
  • Interest in a technically oriented role in Data & Analytics within a demanding project environment and in a future-oriented, motivated, and collegial team.
  • Programming knowledge (e.g., SQL, Python) and experience with databases.
  • Experience in integrating data sources and interfaces (e.g., APIs).
  • Good understanding of data architectures, data quality, and technical interrelationships.
  • Structured and analytical working style, strong communication skills, and comfortable working at the interface between business and IT.
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn new things, and enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills (at least B1).
  • Proficiency in using M365 applications (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
