About the Role
Establish system information requirements through analysis for enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. Three roles are available.
Responsibilities
- Designs architecture including software, hardware, and communications to support total requirements and future cross-functional needs.
- Ensures systems are compatible and compliant with agency IT architecture standards and profiles.
- Ensures the common operating environment is compliant.
- Evaluates work flow, organization, and planning problems and develops corrective actions.
- Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.
Requirements
- Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks.
- Experience analyzing alternatives and presenting technical options to leads and clients.
- Experience driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolios.
- Experience authoring or managing the development of software designs.
- Experience managing vendor evaluations and justifying technical recommendations.
- Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
