About the Role
Greenberg Traurig is seeking a Student Assistant for the Compliance department in Berlin, working 15-20 hours per week. This role involves supporting compliance processes and administrative tasks within a global law firm.
Responsibilities
- Support research and compilation of data for internal anti-money laundering checks (KYC/AML/CFT) during client onboarding and monitoring.
- Assist in updating relevant documents, including policies, training materials, and risk analyses.
- Support the Anti-Money Laundering Officer in implementing and adhering to legal and internal requirements.
- Assist in preparing and conducting internal and external audits.
- Perform general administrative duties.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled student, preferably in Law, Business, Information, or Humanities (Bachelor's or Master's).
- Native-level German language skills.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Structured and meticulous work approach.
- High level of service orientation and flexibility.
- Proficient in standard MS Office applications, especially Excel.
