About the Role

Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) is recruiting for an Underwriting Controls Analyst to support the design, improvement, and delivery of a robust underwriting controls framework. You will work closely with underwriting teams and senior stakeholders to ensure controls, processes, and governance meet internal standards and Lloyd’s regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of underwriting controls and frameworks
  • Produce and maintain key documentation (policies, procedures, guidelines)
  • Monitor, test, and report on underwriting controls, KPIs, and exceptions
  • Deliver monthly reporting and insights to the Underwriting Committee
  • Assist with regulatory reviews, reporting, and underwriting-related projects
  • Support annual processes such as Letters of Authority
  • Help embed best practice across underwriting processes

Requirements

  • Experience in the Lloyd’s or London Market (underwriting, operations, risk, or compliance)
  • Understanding of underwriting controls and Lloyd’s oversight principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of PBQA, regulatory returns, or controls testing (desirable)
  • Progress towards or completion of ACII (preferred)
