About the Role
As ABC’s Landscape Crew Leader, you will be responsible for the professional completion of assigned work and will lead a crew to assist customers with their landscaping needs, ensuring professionalism and excellent customer service. You may also be assigned as the crew’s driver.
Responsibilities
- Review landscape design with the Salesperson and follow work specifications.
- Direct workflow and work performed by other crew members.
- Instruct crew members on proper handling of landscaping equipment and safety procedures.
- Become familiar with customers’ expectations and sales agreements.
- Prepare the work site, which may include digging, sweeping, removing objects, plants, sod, and mulch.
- Perform installation of trees, shrubs, palms, plants, sod, and mulch.
- Undertake light construction work as agreed by sales agreement.
- Learn basics of construction work and perform small projects in new construction and repair.
- Clean the work area and haul away debris upon completion of work.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of application.
- Must maintain an active Driver’s License and be insurable if assigned as a crew driver.
- 2 Years Previous Landscaping experience.
- Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure, and maintain composure.
- Experience working with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines.
- Dependable and self-motivated with a desire to work year-round.
- English speaking is required.
- Ability to work inside and/or outside for long periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
- Must pass pre-employment screenings including Drug Screen, Physical & Physical Performance Evaluation (PPE).
- Must pass comprehensive criminal background checks.
- Must pass a 7-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review.

- Training Pay: $19- $21 based on experience
- Regular Pay: $45k - $70k based on productivity
