About the Role
You’ll play a key role in the financial strategy and success of our projects, ensuring compliance, optimizing financial flows, and driving value creation. You will work closely with teams across the business, contribute to project reviews, and provide reliable financial analysis to support decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Managing project financials, including costs, revenues, and profitability
- Ensuring compliance with international financial standards and Alstom’s internal rules and processes
- Participating in the overall project management process alongside the Project Manager
- Optimizing financial aspects of the project, including tax, hedging, and financing strategies
- Providing financial advice and guidance to the project team to create value
- Ensuring compliance with financial rules during project reviews and execution
- Contributing to business agility and awareness through financial insights
- Supporting claim management and guiding competitiveness improvements
Requirements
- Master’s degree from a business school, engineering school, or university equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in Finance
- Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Strong team-working abilities
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English
- Previous experience in railway or industrial projects (desirable)
- Background in auditing or project operations (advantageous)
- Knowledge of SAP
