About the Role
As Chase bank launches in Germany, this role supports the Operations business in Berlin during its scale-up phase. The position focuses on keeping customer-facing and support teams connected through strategic narrative, channel management, and leader advisory, while helping establish a local presence within a global banking framework.
Responsibilities
- Drive internal communications for Operations by translating operational changes into actionable messages.
- Manage a disciplined communications rhythm and editorial calendar across core channels.
- Develop internal narratives and employee campaigns aligned with firmwide goals.
- Create compelling content covering banking trends and human-interest features.
- Provide senior leader advisory, including developing talking points and scripts.
- Plan and execute town halls and leadership engagement events.
- Measure communication effectiveness and iterate strategies based on insights.
- Maintain stakeholder maps, distribution lists, and content repositories.
- Ensure message accuracy, tone consistency, and appropriate localization.
- Provide on-the-ground external communications support in Germany as needed.
Requirements
- Significant experience in communications or a degree in a communications-related field.
- Fluent in German and English with exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Proven track record of translating complex topics into clear narratives.
- Experience planning and executing leadership forums and events.
- Strong editorial judgment and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries.
- Background in change communications and frontline enablement.
- Proficiency with enterprise collaboration and publishing tools.
