About the Role
Cubist’s data services group is looking for a Data Operations Analyst to join their dedicated team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day implementation of a large research infrastructure and the live production trading of billions of dollars of capital across global capital markets.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 support for thousands of mission-critical data pipelines.
- Perform day-to-day operations including data validation, data entry, data cleaning, security audits, and reporting.
- Manage incidents, including user communication and reporting for management.
- Develop tools, documentation, and processes to support daily operations.
- Support complex permission and entitlement operations across multiple systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing support or operations role.
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments (on-premise and AWS).
- Experience with SQL Server and Python.
- Financial industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail and a passion for process.
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
