About the Role

This is an 8-month fixed term contract within the Talent Acquisition team, focusing on supporting hiring managers and improving recruitment processes. The role offers variety and the chance to shape process improvements impacting candidate and hiring manager experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal mobility activity, including administration, to deliver a smooth, supportive and compliant experience for colleagues in the redeployee pool.
  • Handle situations sensitively and with care.
  • Lead recruitment-related projects with support and guidance from the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Support hiring improvements and enhance the experience for managers and colleagues.
  • Use judgment and initiative when working in a team and independently, thinking creatively to develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Keep the Talent Acquisition Manager updated on project progress and emerging risks or issues.
  • Manage key competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to improve processes, contributing practical ideas and solutions for efficiencies, including reducing complexity and providing simplification.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates and data when needed.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with the Bank’s contractor supplier, ensuring agreed standards are met.

Requirements

  • Experience of delivering recruitment, talent or HR work, with clear examples of responsibilities and outcomes achieved.
  • Demonstrable ability to plan, prioritise and manage competing work effectively, delivering multiple projects or outcomes to agreed deadlines.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to support delivery of shared objectives.
  • Demonstrable ability to work effectively through others, using influencing skills to secure delivery of agreed actions and outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with evidence of communicating clearly and effectively with different audiences.
  • Proven ability to apply sound judgment and escalate appropriately with suggested actions.
  • Experience of working within internal policies and processes, while handling sensitive matters discreetly and consistently.
  • A recognised project management qualification or can evidence strong project management experience.
  • Employment in this role will be subject to the National Security Vetting clearance process and the passing of additional Bank security checks.

Salary/Compensations

  • London salary circa: £51,440 - £57,870
  • Leeds salary circa: £46,320 - £52,110
