About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated night worker to join our kind and caring team, supporting customers with a range of needs, including frailty and dementia, to regain or maintain their independence in their own homes. Some customers may require personal care.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour support to customers.
- Work closely with the care team to follow support plans and report concerns.
- Support customers with everyday daily living activities.
- Engage in meaningful interactions with customers, with ample time for chats and catch-ups.
Requirements
- A Level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care, or willingness to work towards it.
- Previous experience in a CQC care setting is advantageous.
- Possess a positive, caring, can-do attitude and empathy.
- Previous experience working with support plans, recording, and using information concisely and effectively.
- Knowledge of local community and networks is beneficial.
- Ability to use technology for creating and updating support plans.
- Must have an Enhanced DBS check (paid for by the employer).
