About the Role

Join SoftENGINE's Finance team as a Junior Accountant and contribute to the digitalization of financial processes using modern tools and AI. This role offers a great entry point into the finance world within a leading software company.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank accounting, learning processes from the ground up.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Assist in automating accounting processes and collaborate closely with specialists.
• Support liquidity monitoring and prepare payment transactions and VAT pre-declarations.
• Contribute your user perspective to the development of proprietary financial software solutions.
• Participate in exciting finance projects and develop into an expert for digital workflows.

Requirements

• Completed a commercial apprenticeship (e.g., industrial clerk, tax assistant) or a degree with a focus on finance/accounting.
• Ideally, possess initial practical experience in accounting (e.g., through internships or working student positions).
• Digitally savvy with no hesitation towards new software systems.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Structured and conscientious work ethic with a high quality standard.
• Eager to learn, communicative, and enjoys teamwork with mutual support.
