About the Role
PGW Auto Glass, a leader in the Auto Glass industry with over 100 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Company vehicle safely and responsibly.
- Physically load the Company truck and verify truck condition and delivery paperwork.
- Drive to delivery destinations, confirm orders with customers, and unload products.
- Obtain customer signatures and payments.
- Make notations on the manifest and process returned parts.
- Pick up and deliver vendor orders.
- Collect COD payments as needed.
- Prevent product shortages and damage.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Adhere to DOT procedures including driver logs and medical card requirements for vehicles over 10,001 lbs.
Requirements
- Must have an excellent driving record.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
- Must possess an unexpired medical card if operating vehicles over 10,001 lbs.
