About the Role
Quality Control Technicians are responsible for maintaining quality-assurance processes, testing products, and recording/analyzing results during product development, manufacturing, and delivery. They ensure adherence to best production practices and product quality standards, while monitoring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are crucial for this role, which requires obtaining ACI & TxDOT Certifications.
Responsibilities
- Sampling and Testing Concrete
- Maintain Quality
- Quality Limits and Non-Compliance
- Job site Control Functions
- Slump Control Procedures
- Investigation of abnormal test results
- Troubleshooting, Problem Solving, Report Drafting
- Conduct Inspection of Plants and Fleets
- Proportioning of Concrete Mix Designs/Trial Batches
- Processing and Filing Test Results
- Laboratory Procedures
- Statistical Evaluation of Strength Data
- Specification Review
- Assist with Implementation of QMS
- Implementation of personnel Training Programs
- Analyze, Review and Adjust Mix Designs
Requirements
- Must obtain ACI & TxDOT Certifications
- Minimum 2 years industry experience, preferably in concrete production, testing/quality control
- Availability Monday thru Saturday
