About the Role
This role is responsible for shaping and delivering high-impact technology and product initiatives within the Office of the Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO). The Principal Project Manager will bring clarity, structure, and momentum to complex projects, ensuring effective collaboration and strong governance across a diverse portfolio, including a major ITSM/CMDB transformation programme.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex projects end to end, ensuring successful delivery through planning, reporting, and risk/issue management.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, Service Management, Product, Service Design, and suppliers.
- Provide oversight across the CTPO portfolio, strengthening governance, improving visibility, and supporting decision-making.
- Coordinate programme and governance boards, ensuring clear, timely, and transparent reporting, escalation, and updates.
Requirements
- Experience leading complex projects in large, matrixed environments.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Strong track record of delivering end-to-end programmes with meaningful impact.
- Confidence in setting up and managing project governance and risk management in complex delivery environments.
- Ability to bring structure, clarity, and calm to fast-moving and evolving portfolios.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear insight.
