About the Role

In this role, you will support the existing team operationally and take on various tasks within our Databricks and data integration landscape. You will process and develop existing jobs and data pipelines in Databricks using SQL and PySpark, migrate existing processes to the Databricks environment, and work on data protection relevant topics.

Responsibilities

• Processing and further development of existing jobs and data pipelines in Databricks using SQL and PySpark.
• Taking over, managing, and gradually migrating existing processes into the Databricks environment.
• Contributing to data protection relevant topics in the functional and technical environment.
• Connecting, integrating, and processing external data sources, especially from Snowflake.
• Creating, maintaining, and developing documentation, for example, on project-specific information, technical processes, and rollout instructions.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or Business Administration with a strong IT affinity.
• Proficient in SQL and PySpark, using these tools routinely in practice.
• Solid experience working with Databricks.
• Work carefully, structured, and reliably, independently taking over existing processes according to clearly defined specifications.
• Very good German language skills and good subject-related English language skills.
