About the Role
Inspire learning, build confidence, and change children's lives by providing expert tuition and innovative learning tools. Tutors act as coaches and mentors, supporting each learner's progress with care and purpose.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored sessions using the Compass learning tool, facilitating learning through questioning, scaffolding, and stretching.
- Build meaningful relationships with children in a 1:6 ratio, creating a safe and inspiring environment.
- Support members working through the national curriculum, entrance exams, and GCSE preparation.
- Lead sessions with small groups, inspiring engagement and using positive behaviour management strategies.
- Prioritize children's safety and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Must be age 16 or over.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Achieved a grade 6 or above in Maths & English Language at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Accepts predicted GCSE grades if results will be received within the next 3 months.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.
- Cannot offer any form of sponsorship.
- Must provide a full employment history with all gaps clearly explained and evidenced.
- Any omission, inconsistency or misleading information may result in application rejection, offer withdrawal, or dismissal.
- Relevant disclosures will be required in line with DBS and safer recruitment requirements.

- Under 18: £8.40 per hour
- 18-20: £10.90 per hour
- 21+: £12.75 per hour
- Additional 50p per hour for working inside the M25
