About the Role
As a Product Owner for digital products, you will be responsible for a defined segment of our product portfolio, making priorities transparent and driving development in collaboration with colleagues and external partners. You thrive on efficient processes, user-centric thinking, and bringing structure to diverse requirements.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for a portion of the digital product portfolio, focusing on essential base services for the entire party organization.
- Ongoing support of existing applications, including the conception of new features and products.
- Maintenance and prioritization of the Product Backlog, translating needs into clear user stories, and ensuring a transparent, impact-oriented approach.
- Managing collaboration with external development and design partners to ensure timely delivery of agreed-upon services in the expected quality and scope.
- Synthesizing the diverse needs of full-time and volunteer users into viable solutions.
- Facilitating stakeholder alignment within the party and ensuring clear communication throughout the development cycle.
- Monitoring budget, time, and progress for assigned products, including invoice verification.
- Working with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and contributing to the advancement of product and project methodologies.
Requirements
- Successfully completed (technical) university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Design, or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in digital product development.
- Proficient in agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, and experienced with ticketing and backlog systems.
- Experience with user-centric digital product development and common processes, roles, and methods.
- A good sense for User Experience, empathy for users, and sensitivity to accessibility.
- Experience in moderating diverse stakeholders and the ability to best integrate different needs.
- Experience working with external service providers, particularly in development and design.
- Structured, independent work style with enjoyment in cooperation and efficient processes.
- Ability to independently coordinate multiple parallel initiatives and maintain an overview even during intensive phases.
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken) and good English language skills.
- Affinity with green values.
