About the Role
Fiserv is a global leader in Fintech and payments, connecting financial institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers. This role is responsible for driving market requirements for Fiserv’s Gift Solutions team, acting as the SME interface to clients, sales, and operational teams to identify business requirements, partnerships, and consult based on merchant value closed loop industry. The position requires daily interaction with cross-functional internal teams and clients to identify and lead product strategy and development, partnering with technical teams to identify and build features and functionality that meet stored value market needs and ultimately increase revenue and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for conception through end-of-life ownership for a specific product, product group or product line including product management, product development and business development.
- Manage, track and report product performance throughout its lifecycle including product strategy, product planning and issue prioritization.
- Drive product development life cycle from concept, design, testing, and production deployment, and product commercialization, including all improvements of road map and statement of direction development.
- Lead peers and dotted line relationships through the project lifecycle to deliver development efforts.
- Maintain awareness and understanding of customer and market needs.
- Develop business cases to support new product recommendations.
- Act as a primary negotiator between internal stakeholders and clients to resolve problem statements and uses cases.
- Provide relevant product information and expertise to support sales effort.
- Assist with the education and merchant closed loop programs and stored value features and functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of product management experience preferably in B2B SaaS or e-commerce
- Proven track record of delivering successful third-party integrations
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and their documentation
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams to scope and deliver technical solutions
- Experience collaborating with external partners, including negotiating priorities, aligning on roadmaps, and driving successful outcomes that drive revenue
- Experience bringing integrated products to market, including coordinating with marketing and sales to drive adoption and customer success
- Adept at working in agile methodologies, partnering with Product Design and Eng to lead fast iteration cycles
- Proven record using data to drive decision making and impact measurement
- Experience working in the digital/mobile wallet or payments space is a strong plus
- Experience working in B2B/2C / dual sided platforms and marketplaces a strong plus
