About the Role
You will be an integral part of the investment team at adesso ventures, gaining insights into the complete investment process and building your network within the European startup ecosystem. You will learn to analyze business models, markets, and trends, and meet exciting startups and founders.
Responsibilities
- Independent sourcing of new startups
- Participation in and independent execution of initial meetings with founders
- Content support for due diligence tasks, such as market and competitor research, financial analyses, etc.
- Representing adesso ventures at startup conferences and events, and networking with founders and investors
Requirements
- Advanced studies in economics, IT, or a comparable field
- Initial experience in venture capital, consulting, investment banking, or startup environments
- Strong interest in the startup scene and a general understanding of how venture capital funds operate
- Quick comprehension and high willingness to perform
- Teamwork, high motivation, and initiative
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
