About the Role
Seeking a Part-Time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS) to join our Austin team, offering the opportunity to work collaboratively with a skilled clinical team and provide high-quality surgical care to our pediatric patient population. This role is ideal for a surgeon looking to supplement their schedule while making a meaningful impact in a well-established and supportive practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric tooth extractions, including impacted teeth
- Perform exposure and bonding procedures
- Perform surgical management of dental anomalies
- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans in collaboration with pediatric dentists and orthodontists
- Provide sedation services if applicable and credentialed
- Ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive patient experience
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all regulatory standards
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited program
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency
- Active Texas dental license or ability to obtain
- Board-certified or board-eligible preferred
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
- IV sedation/general anesthesia certification if applicable
- Compassionate, patient-first mindset with strong communication skills
