Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of the financial control function.
- Ensure excellence across financial reporting, controls, governance, treasury, and audit.
- Strengthen financial control and balance sheet integrity.
- Improve reporting and processes.
- Enhance systems and automation.
- Lead audit activities.
- Provide financial insights that support executive decision-making.
- Assess the current financial control operating model and implement initiatives to improve efficiency, reporting quality, automation, and business outcomes.
- Lead the organisation's ERP transformation, overseeing the selection and implementation of a new enterprise-wide finance and procurement system.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader within a complex organisation.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, with CA/CPA (or equivalent).
- Experience working in organisations with revenues exceeding $100 million.
- Proven track record delivering finance transformation initiatives.
- Experience leading ERP implementations or major finance projects.
- Strong financial control, governance, audit, and compliance expertise.
- Experience leading and developing finance teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to assess challenges, ask insightful questions, and develop practical solutions.
- Ideally, experience with Oracle JDE, SAP, Epicor, or other large ERP platforms.
- Exposure to automation, process optimisation, and AI-enabled finance solutions.
