About the Role

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the San Francisco, CA territory. Responsibilities

  • Consistently identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory.
  • Build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business.
  • Drive inquiry generation.
  • Shape high-impact partnerships for your territory.
  • Execute daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed.
  • Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners.
  • Champion the GCE mission and promote Grand Canyon University student success.
  • Support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process.
  • Guide students toward a successful online learning experience.

Requirements

  • Over 3+ years of success in outside business development, consultative sales, or account management.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report.
  • Outstanding time management and prioritization skills, especially while traveling.
  • Clear communication skills (in-person, written, phone) and well-developed listening skills.
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to use personal vehicle for travel.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Clean driving record.
