About the Role
Develop and manage end-to-end mobile experiences for PayPal's revolving consumer credit products in the US and international markets. Design and maintain high-performing, reusable Swift code, staying current with the latest mobile technologies. Collaborate with product owners to define technical needs and establish processes, tools, and methodologies for software development excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage end-to-end mobile experiences around PayPal’s revolving consumer credit products in the United States and foreign markets.
- Design and maintain high performing, reusable Swift code.
- Stay current with the newest mobile technologies.
- Provide and receive feedback on code through pull requests and regular reviews of processes.
- Work with product owners to crystallize the technical needs during grooming and planning meetings.
- Define and develop processes, tools and methodologies to achieve excellence in software development, testing, and deployment.
- Follow coding standards and guidelines with attention to performance, scalability, and availability.
- Utilize knowledge of and experience with iOS applications connected to APIs – RESTful and GraphQL.
- Utilize knowledge of and experience with iOS architecture.
- Utilize knowledge of and experience with version control system and processes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Two years of experience in creating applications in Objective-C.
- Two years of experience in creating applications in Swift.
- Two years of experience working in Financial Technology.
- Two years of experience designing and developing Large-Scale Applications.
- Two years of experience building enterprise applications.
- Two years of experience with Apple’s Xcode, Memory Graph, Instruments, macOS, Simulator.
- Two years of experience writing and performing Test Automation.
- Two years of experience implementing accessibility requirements.
- Two years of experience building Data Pipelines.
- Two years of experience with Postman and SoapUI for API testing and validation.
- Two years of experience integrating and analyzing data for logging and user behavior insights - Adobe Analytics, Splunk, FPTI, and DataDog.
- Two years of experience with Crashlytics for crash reporting, diagnostics, and stability tracking.
- Two years of experience managing versioning and coordinating release processes for internal frameworks - CocoaPods.
- Two years of experience with Generic Programming languages - Java, Python, MySQL, HTML, CSS.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
