About the Role

As the Product Manager for our Scale Pod, you'll own the product surface at the intersection of revenue, operations, and the patient's relationship with their insurance. You'll partner closely with Revenue Cycle Management, Credentialing & Onboarding, and Finance to transform healthcare billing into a clear, trustworthy experience. This high-leverage role involves improving product features that compound into millions in recovered revenue and build patient trust.

Responsibilities

  • Own the claims & revenue product surface.
  • Drive product strategy for revenue capture from claims, including eligibility checks, submission, adjudication, denials, and appeals.
  • Identify and eliminate leakage across the revenue cycle, such as missed charges, denied claims, write-offs, and underpayments.
  • Partner with RCM operators to translate workflow pain into scalable product solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers on complex system design for payer integrations, claims lifecycle management, provider credentialing, and financial workflows.
  • Build the patient benefits experience, focusing on discovery, understanding, and trust in nutrition benefits.
  • Reduce confusion and surprise bills by simplifying insurance processes for patients.
  • Utilize research, support data, and quantitative signals to prioritize patient needs.
  • Scale credentialing & onboarding and operationalize with Finance.
  • Build product to expedite provider payer readiness and minimize credentialing-driven revenue gaps.
  • Incorporate unit economics as a product input, designing based on contribution margin per visit.
  • Prototype with AI tools like Claude Code and Codex for flows, screens, data exploration, and idea testing.
  • Ship faster by closing the gap between idea and artifact, bringing working prototypes to discussions.
  • Demonstrate strong opinions on design, focusing on UX, copy, and visual polish.
  • Lead end-to-end product management, including writing specs, running discovery, prioritizing, and shipping with engineering and design.
  • Define, instrument, and track success metrics, holding the team accountable to outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly with operators, engineers, executives, and external partners.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of product management experience, ideally with operationally complex, data-rich product areas.
  • Proven track record of shipping product that improved key business metrics (revenue, margin, conversion, retention, or operational throughput).
  • Proficient in SQL and/or product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap, etc.), spreadsheets, and BI tools for data exploration.
  • Operational fluency, with the ability to understand workflows and design product that fits practical execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex problems.
  • Fluent in AI-assisted product work, actively using tools like Claude Code or Codex for prototyping and exploration.
  • Strong design sense and ability to articulate design effectiveness.
  • NYC or SF-based with the ability to join the team in-office on a hybrid rhythm.
  • Healthcare/healthtech experience, particularly in revenue cycle, claims, billing, eligibility, credentialing, or payer integrations.
  • Consumer or marketplace product experience, including B2C surfaces and multi-sided marketplaces.
