About the Role
We are looking for strong engineers with experience and interest in designing, building, and maintaining the high-performance systems that make up our platform.
Responsibilities
- Building VM snapshotting that restores full browser state in under a second
- Performance engineering our Sessions API by analyzing kernel traces
- Orchestrating millions of browser sessions across regions with sub-second cold starts
- Working with VMs, proxies, caches, task queues, and orchestration systems
- Shipping the observability and CI/CD stack from scratch
Requirements
- 4+ years writing high-quality, production code
- Experience building and operating high-performance, large-scale distributed systems
- Strong cloud infrastructure skills (AWS, GCP)
- Strong knowledge of OS foundations - Linux kernel, file systems, containers, etc
- Track record in performance optimization
