About the Role

Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedule and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved material timed to meet the production plan. Facilitate the implementation of the production plan and take corrective action for daily operational problems. Oversee personnel performance, ensure department quality and safety compliance, and plan and direct the administration of assigned projects. Study the need for improvements in existing processes, systems, and equipment, and cooperate with related departments to optimize for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Assist with contract negotiations with suppliers and independently respond to routine problems.

Ensure control flow of approved material timed to meet production plan
Facilitate the implementation of the production plan
Take corrective action for daily operational problems within the department
Oversee the performance of wage personnel
Ensure department quality and safety compliance
Plan and direct the administration and implementation of assigned projects
Study the need for improvements of existing processes, systems and equipment
Cooperate with related departments to optimize for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
Assist with contract negotiations with suppliers
Respond to routine problems independently
