About the Role
Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Make Ready) for a full-time temporary summer position. This role involves hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to a team that maintains community pride. The position offers competitive pay and the potential for permanent employment.
Responsibilities
- Complete the turn/make ready process of vacant apartments.
- Assist the team with maintenance work orders.
- Maintain property grounds on a daily basis.
- Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure smooth property operations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
- No HVAC certification/experience required.
- EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands-on HVAC troubleshooting / repair experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work.
- Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks.
- Reliable transportation.
- Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.).
- Ability to drive a golf cart.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Background check required.
