About the Role
Goway Travel is seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer to build and scale the next generation of travel operations platforms. This role involves designing and developing high-impact solutions, mentoring engineers, and contributing to architectural decisions. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to create seamless travel experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of features across Node.js, NestJS, and React.js
- Design and implement performant APIs and serverless services within AWS
- Work with product, architecture, and operational teams to define scalable technical approaches
- Conduct code reviews, contribute to standards, and guide implementation quality
- Drive continuous integration, testing, and automation improvements
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of software engineering experience, with strong fullstack expertise
- Deep knowledge of Node.js, NestJS, and modern React frameworks
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, Cognito, RDS/Postgres, OpenSearch)
- Strong grounding in system integration, REST/JSON, and DTO-based architectures
- Experience with Agile delivery, Jira, GitHub, and modern test frameworks
- Understanding of travel domain or operational systems (desirable)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
