Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and build media lists, editorial calendars, awards lists, and influencer lists.
  • Monitor media, social coverage, travel trends, and client competitors.
  • Track and organize client coverage for internal reporting.
  • Maintain internal calendars of key events, holidays, awards, and conferences.
  • Assist in organizing cross-client group pitches.
  • Draft and distribute initial pitches and press releases upon supervisor approval.
  • Draft and share client blurbs for agency roundups.
  • Contribute ideas for partnerships and creative campaigns.
  • Provide administrative support, including drafting clip memos, coverage reports, and maintaining clip grids.
  • Maintain consistency across accounts using standardized templates and trackers.
  • Share relevant client and industry news internally.
  • Assist account teams with daily tasks, projects, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate and book travel for media and influencer press trips.
  • Submit calendar/event listings and assist with other assigned projects.
  • Assist with press trips or events, including coordination of bookings, itineraries, and face sheets.
  • Attend in-house trainings.
  • Support on-site events, including check-in and set-up/break-down.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or English preferred.
  • Previous PR experience (at least 1 PR internship and/or 1 year of agency experience).
  • Interest in travel, food, wine & spirits is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, willing to take on any task, large or small.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
  • Candidate lives within commuting distance of the New York City area or is willing to relocate.
