Responsibilities
- Use play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help kids build communication, social, and life skills.
- Bring energy and compassion to each session, whether at a child’s home, a center, or in the community.
- Follow personalized plans designed by clinical leaders.
- Celebrate small wins that lead to big growth.
- Complete training and documentation.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Flexible availability, especially Monday-Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays
- Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID – CA mandated)
- Reliable transportation
- Comfort working with diverse populations
- Willingness to complete training and documentation
- Ability to frequently sit and stand, keeping pace with your client
- Ability to frequently use the telephone, speak, and listen
- Ability to frequently handle documents, use copier/fax, and file
- Ability to frequently type and use a computer
- Ability to occasionally walk around building
- Ability to occasionally bend, reach, stoop, and pull
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move items up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally walk to, bend to enter, sit, and use upper and lower limbs to drive a car
