About the Role
Cherry Ventures is seeking a Finance & Investor Relations Intern to join their team for a 3-4 month period starting September 2026. This role offers a dynamic experience within a fast-paced venture capital environment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a dynamic team with operational and investment banking backgrounds.
- Assist in the preparation of strategy and marketing materials for investors.
- Assist with various investor relations activities including preparation of advisory board decks, investor calls, and quarterly reporting.
- Be involved in fund finance activities including liaising with fund administrators, lawyers, and banks.
- Contribute to building a world-class early-stage venture capital fund by taking on additional responsibilities.
Requirements
- Must have an EU passport or an existing permit to work in Germany.
- Prior experience in a start-up, VC/PE fund, consulting, or banking.
- Strong analytical background and proficiency in working with quantitative data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI tools.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Enrolled in or concluded a Master’s Degree at a top-tier university in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar fields, or have prior experience in the sector.
- Basic understanding of P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows.
- International and multicultural mindset/background.
- English working proficiency.
