Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and drivability systems
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, special service equipment, and manufacturer technology platforms
Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and teammates to ensure a seamless client experience
Provide accurate estimates for additional repairs and maintenance recommendations
Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs for quality assurance
Maintain manufacturer certifications and stay current with evolving automotive technologies
Contribute to a positive, high-performance team environment focused on excellence and accountability

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or technician trainee preferred
Luxury, European, or franchise dealership experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific software
Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and grow
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
