About the Role
Raymond James Ltée is seeking an Associate, Learning and Development to join the Private Client Group (PCG) team. This hybrid role, based in Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver, will enhance employee skills by designing and delivering branch training programs to drive performance and align with company values. Responsibilities include assessing training needs, developing curricula and materials, and managing all phases of branch training.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with PCG teams and RJL divisions to identify target employee training requirements and needs.
- Assist with the layout, editing, and organization of training content.
- Produce user manuals on standard business procedures (job aids).
- Evaluate training effectiveness by measuring and assessing participant feedback.
- Provide "ad hoc" training for new employees across all Raymond James departments.
- Ensure training content is regularly updated through a review or update process.
- Stay informed about new trends and tools in staff development.
- Deliver remote and conference room training.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in learning and development, training, and/or adult education.
- Required experience in the financial services or securities brokerage industry.
- Post-secondary education in learning principles or a certificate in continuing education or adult teaching.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques.
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
- Experience with conference room training for adult learners.
- Available for occasional travel.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
- Advanced proficiency in French, both oral and written, is required.
